Manchester City Ederson Moraes will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shock transfer to European giant

Journalist claims Manchester City could sell “unique” player for £50 million during the summer.
According to journalist Dean Jones, Manchester City will ask for a sum ranging from £50 million to cover one of their players’ sale.

Manchester City seems to have allowed its players leave with ease over the years instead of clinging to them in what results in a transfer controversy.

Like any great club, City’s first concern seems to be collecting a sum commensurate with the player’s talent, age, and contract term.

Journalist: Man City could be willing to sell one player for £50 million.
Fabrizio Romano said on Tuesday that Ederson Moraes was thinking about leaving the Etihad Stadium.

Described as “special” by Joleon Lescott in the Daily Mail, City’s number 31 has spent seven years with the club and has evolved into a club legend.

Dean Jones on the Ranks FC podcast that Manchester City would be willing to consider selling Ederson for £50 million this summer.

Jones said: “The last reports indicated the bid would be around £25 million. Although City would not sell him for £25 million, I have an open-minded view of how this may turn out.

“I could really see that amount rising and you would have to get near to £50 million for Ederson and they would have a decision to make.”

£50 million would be a reasonable payment for Ederson.
Given Ederson’s two years left on his deal, £50 million or a price in that area would be excellent business for Manchester City. Given they signed the Brazilian international for £35 million in 2017, the Sky Blues may also earn a £15 million profit in the process.

From City’s point of view, the cost would be reasonable as the 30-year-old may join most teams worldwide regardless of the contract term.

The six-time Premier League champion is likely to play at the best level for many more years; he has not showed any indications of a downturn.

Given Ederson has been a key component of Manchester City’s core for years, whether they should trade him under any conditions in the summer is another debate.
