Erling Haaland goes wild for 64th-minute moment in Manchester City 5-0 Huddersfield

After Phil Foden scored two goals against Huddersfield Town today, Manchester City fans went crazy for him. At one point, Erling Haaland became enamoured with Foden as well.
City defeated the Championship team 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium to guarantee their safe passage to the FA Cup’s fourth round.
Along with Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doky, Foden scored two goals on his own. Additionally, Oscar Bobb forced an own goal.
As has been the norm for Foden lately with his major roles, he was a pleasure to watch today.
Throughout the match, he was criticised by BBC pundit Leon Osman, but at several points, he truly brought the game to life.
His second goal was expertly taken, and it undoubtedly inspired Erling Haaland, the injured striker for City, to create something.
Haaland saw his teammates play today at the Etihad Stadium once more.
Although the Norwegian is back in City’s first team, he wasn’t quite ready to play against the Terriers today. It is hoped that he will be ready to play next Saturday against Newcastle United.
Even though he has missed eight City games, he didn’t come across as really irate today since his teammates were excellent.
Once again, Foden excelled in the number 10 position. In the 64th minute, he scored his second goal with a skillfully timed strike into the far corner.
The official FA Cup account on X has posted the footage of Haaland, 23, celebrating his teammate’s goal, which was captured as he was sitting to the side.
Haaland’s response was also captured by BBC iPlayer, showing the celebrity grinning broadly.
Haaland has to be itching to play with Foden once more.
What a fantastic performance by Foden, who is currently playing in the middle and is clearly enjoying it.
In Kevin De Bruyne’s absence, the England international has performed admirably, and many City supporters want he keeps playing centrally as he does.
Given Foden’s exceptional vision and ability to play through balls, Haaland is undoubtedly hoping for the same thing at this stage. He is completely aware of his surroundings and the locations of his comrades.
Alvarez and Haaland have been a great combination lately, so you can only image the havoc that may occur if Haaland takes back the lead.
