A reporter talks about what he knows about Joshua Kimmich and his possible move to Manchester City.
A little more than two weeks ago, Fabrizio Romano said that the flexible technician plans to stay at the Allianz Arena in January. The Italian reporter said that the possibility of him leaving in the winter window was completely ruled out.
However, it was said earlier this month that the Sky Blues wanted to sign the Champions League winner in the summer. The player could be available for as little as £25 million.
Now, Dean Jones has said that he thinks there are signs that Manchester City is making moves to bring Joshua Kimmich to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.

“[Joshua] Kimmich to Manchester City this summer?” It’s a really interesting story because it won’t go away and I’m not hearing anything negative about it from the Man City end. When that happens, I always want to think something is going on in the background.
He said on the Ranks FC podcast, “I’ll keep an open mind about this transfer, but it won’t be easy—the money, the decision to cut ties from a Bayern point of view—but it is one to look out for.”
Adding Joshua Kimmich to the team would make them much more experienced.
Of course, Joshua Kimmich would be a great addition to Manchester City’s team because he is both a world-class player and a very capable one. But it is also important to think about how much experience he would bring to the team.
Kimmich has won a lot of awards. He has eight Bundesliga titles, one Champions League trophy, three DFL-Pokal titles, and a lot of other trophies.
Players like Ilkay Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez, and Aymeric Laporte have already left the Etihad Stadium this summer. If Joshua Kimmich joins, he will help lead the team, which is very important for any team that wants to win.
