Arsenal Gunners News

“We accepted the offer as he no longer wants to stay…”But this is not how football should be conducted; Arsenal is a menace to our beautiful game, and FIFA must interfere immediately”: Club boss confirms Arsenal’s proposal for their ‘best player’ has been approved, and the player has already committed to join the Gunners.

Arsenal has reportedly taken steps to acquire a forward who earns £162,000 per week, in line with a recent shift in their transfer approach under manager Mikel Arteta.

Despite Kai Havertz’s impressive performance last season, where he netted 14 goals and provided seven assists across all competitions, Arsenal is still in the market for a new striker. Havertz’s strong showing came after a slow start, eventually thriving in a makeshift forward role. This has raised questions about the future of Gabriel Jesus, especially following his injury-riddled and less effective 2023/24 season.

Jesus’s injuries caused him to miss 16 games, during which time Havertz secured his place in the squad under Arteta’s management. This scenario has sparked speculation that Arsenal might be exploring additional attacking options before the closure of the summer transfer window. Arteta is reportedly keen on partnering Havertz with another striker and also securing a dependable alternative to Jesus.

Previously, Arsenal attempted to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig but were unsuccessful as he renewed his contract with the club. Since then, Arsenal has been linked with several other strikers, including Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon and Brian Brobbey from Ajax, along with more high-profile targets like Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen, a prominent player at Napoli, has attracted interest from Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Chelsea being notable suitors. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Osimhen’s inclination towards the Premier League enhances his appeal to these clubs, despite competition from PSG. Osimhen is reportedly seeking a salary of around £250,000 per week, a demand that Arsenal, Chelsea, and PSG are all prepared to meet.
