REPORT Saudi Arabia clubs are set to hand Chelsea a ‘crazy huge bid’ after a whopping ‘extraordinary’ sum of over $100M was offered to Chelsea in exchange for 27-years old Pochettino Royce Rolls Player ahead of January summer transfer
According to a recent claim, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has already decided to join Saudi Arabia on a contract worth “millions” next summer. Following his less-than-ideal comeback, the Belgian attacker has struggled to secure a permanent departure from the club.
The Blues spent close around £100 million to lure the striker back to Stamford Bridge, where they desperately needed a goal scorer. Under Thomas Tuchel, he started brilliantly, regaining his scoring touch and offering a tangible threat to a team that was challenging for the Premier League early on.
That dwindled when injury and fitness difficulties arose, along with a player interview in which he criticised how the head coach was using him. Relations appeared to be strained from the start, as he made little effect after that, returning to Inter Milan on loan the following season.
Lukaku, hoping for a full sale, remained linked with a move, but hints that he could join a competitor appeared to sour his relationship with the Nerazzurri. Lukaku’s former club signed additional forward options, forcing him to choose between a move to Saudi Arabia and another loan contract.
He chose the latter, joining Jose Mourinho at AS Roma, pushing worries of a potential Chelsea exit down the road. Since then, there has been ambiguity over his future, but it appears that this may be resolved soon, bringing the entire tale to a close.
According to writer Fabio Santini, the striker has already agreed to a transfer to Saudi Arabia. “Lukaku?” he told TVPlay. Juve is tough to recall because he has already agreed to a million-dollar offer from Saudi Arabia. I tell Roma fans that one thing is certain: Romelu will depart at the end of the season.”
Chelsea have already sent Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly to Saudi Arabia in the last year, while N’Golo Kante’s contract expired, allowing him to travel there for free. Any sale for Lukaku will also provide the Blues with some market leverage in terms of financial rules.
Their excessive spending is certain to continue, despite worries about their finances and a recent warning following Everton’s ten-point deduction, although the club insists they are not in violation of any rules.
