Concerned by Kylian Mbappe’s possible exit, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly considering Marcus Rashford once more as they search for left-wingers ahead of the summer transfer window.
Before he extended his contract in the summer, the Manchester United star was being considered by the French club for a deal. After scoring thirty goals the previous season, Rashford has struggled to find his scoring touch this year and has drawn criticism for off-field problems.
The 26-year-old recently claimed to have missed two nights out at a nightclub in Belfast when he called in sick for Manchester United’s FA Cup match against Newport County. Although head coach Erik ten Hag described the situation as a “internal matter,” Rashford has not been punished in public despite missing work twice in the last four months because of partying. Jadon Sancho, on the other hand, was temporarily dropped from the Manchester United team in September due to disciplinary issues.
After the recent incident, there has been more speculation over Rashford’s future, with some reports speculating that he would leave the team. The most recent information, nevertheless, is that Manchester United has no plans to let go of its academy graduate.
However, PSG might become Rashford’s top option if Mbappe decides to leave the French team, providing him with a way out of Manchester. Mbappe is reportedly unsure about leaving PSG at the moment.
