“I have warned Carlo Ancelotti about that particular player, he refused to bench him, He keeps causing problems to the teams, He almost Denied Real Madrid three points against Valencia”: Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane names ONE player who doesn’t deserve to start for Real Madrid, warned Ancelotti about the unforgivable mistake
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his satisfaction with his team’s resilience and character in their thrilling 2-1 victory over Valencia on Friday. Despite being reduced to ten men following Vini Jr.’s red card, Real Madrid staged a dramatic comeback, scoring two goals in the final minutes to secure a hard-fought win.
Ancelotti praised his team’s ability to overcome obstacles, including the sending-off, a missed penalty, and a disallowed goal. He acknowledged that the team’s performance was a tale of two halves, with a dismal first half followed by an impressive second half display.
“The team showed great character and resilience,” Ancelotti said. “We were able to bounce back from a difficult situation and secure a deserved victory. I congratulated the players in the dressing room and told them that it was a very poor first half, but a very good second half.”
Regarding Vini Jr.’s red card, Ancelotti felt that it was an unjust decision and plans to appeal it. He believed that both Vini Jr. and Valencia goalkeeper Dimitrievski should have received yellow cards instead.
“We don’t think it was a red card,” Ancelotti said. “Dimitrievski laid hands on Vini Jr., and then there was the shove. Two yellows would have sufficed. I hope Vini Jr. can play in the next game because he’s a player who makes a big difference for us.”
