Coming From FABRIZIO ROMANO this Morning-“It’s was not in my will to Leave the Club but I was threatened and FORCED OUT of Manchester City- Former Man city Captain Yaya Toure’s has revealed who Forced Him out of Manchester City
When you greedily stuff your face with too much birthday cake, you usually feel bad about it. But for Yaya Toure, it happened when he wasn’t getting enough.
Two days before, Manchester City had won their second Premier League title. Things could not have gone better for the blue side of Manchester as they once again took back control from their neighbours, Manchester United. After two days, a strange event caused a stir.
The whole thing started when Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, said City hadn’t properly celebrated the middle star’s birthday. This led to wild rumours that a birthday cake had gone missing. Even though it was a ridiculous situation, it made his stay at the Etihad very dangerous.
Indeed, the club’s Twitter account wished Toure a happy birthday and gave him a cake and a song while the team went to Abu Dhabi for the post-season, but that didn’t make Seluk happy. “On his birthday, none of them shook his hand.” Seluk told BBC Sport, “It’s really sick.” “He got a cake, but when it was Roberto Carlos’ birthday, the Anzhi president gave him a Bugatti.”
And I don’t think City will give Yaya a Bugatti. All we asked was that they thank him and shake his hand. It’s the least they can do on his birthday when the whole team is together.
“One newspaper said that City thanked him on Twitter, but that’s not true. If they aren’t going to talk to him, they shouldn’t post anything on Twitter. Once the club won the Premier League this season, the owners ate a 100-kilogram cake. But on his birthday, none of the players shook his hand when they were all together. They don’t care about him, as shown.
“Yaya is upset about this, of course.” There is no way that you, as a BBC reporter, would let this go without shaking hands. You would quit and work for someone else. It’s all right.”

The first thing Toure did in response to the reports was tweet, “Don’t take words that don’t come from my mouth seriously.” While Paulo Teixeira, Roberto Carlos’s lawyer, didn’t like what was said. “I don’t see why this is coming out,” he told BBC World. “It has nothing to do with the player’s contract.” Toure has enough cash to buy ten or twenty Bugattis. It’s about egos.
“If Yaya’s agent says this, it’s because he knows his player and what the player needs. He may also be trying to get the club’s management to do something to help the player.” I don’t understand why they’re paying attention to this, though; it’s getting pretty silly.”
But Toure then replied to his agent’s tweet with, “Everything Dimitri said is true.” The tweet has since been deleted. He talks for me. I’ll say more after the World Cup.
Seluk said that the birthday snub could cause Toure to leave City early, even though he still had four years left on his deal. “There is a big possibility Yaya will leave this summer,” he stated.
“He’s really mad. His birthday party shows that the club doesn’t care about him. It proved something. Say whatever they want: “We liked him, but forgot about it.” Not Remembered? What about Yaya? Who was the player who helped you win the Premier League twice? The person who helped you win the League Cup and FA Cup?”

Toure stayed in Manchester even though he was linked to both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. In September, he tried to play down the issue by saying, “My agent made a little joke about it, and people took it seriously.” I was shocked by how people and the media responded to that.
“People talked a lot about birthday cakes and other silly things over the summer.” I was let down by it. My birthday is coming up in four years, and I have never asked for a cake.
The legendary Ivorian player finished his term at Manchester City by winning a third Premier League title, even though he didn’t play much in Pep Guardiola’s team. In an interview with The Times 18 months after he left, Toure talked about how sorry he was for what happened.
“That’s crazy. I was hurt a lot by the party cake. People in France and Africa ask me, “Do you want cake?” I was so mad. I told Seluk, “Don’t do that, there’s no need for it.” I told Khaldoon [Al Mubarak], “It’s not me, don’t worry,” the other day.
“I did something wrong when I tweeted, ‘OK, he’s right.'” That one is killing me. Some people began to think that what he said was true. Fans who read this must have felt bad about me, and I can see why.
“Before the cake.” I put up with Seluk’s pranks because I respect him. You should also thank him, because he has been very helpful to me. He did many bad things, though. It was way too much.
