City knows that Alphonso Davies is going to Real Madrid.
For now, the Citizens are looking for a new left back because they don’t have any natural ones.
Josko Gvardiol, who usually plays as a central defender, has been playing on the left so far this season and seems to be having trouble at times. However, Bailey reports that Txiki Begiristain has ruled out a move for Davies because Real Madrid is closing in on him.
The HITC Football reporter said, “Davies is on their radar, but I think they know he’s going to Real Madrid.” That’s what I understand. This has been in the works for 18 months. The plans are clear that he will go there.
“I believe Manchester City will try to get another left back this summer.”

SPORT in Spain says that there was also a lot of interest in Alejandro Balde, the third-best player for Barcelona. However, Manchester City has since stopped being interested in the Spain international.
We still don’t think a move is impossible, though, because both Guardiola and Begiristain have ties to Xavi and Barcelona.
