“When we played against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, I think too many decisions … not one key decision was for us. Two Goals was ruled out as Offside. VAR helped them to beat us, always for another colour. Always red. I want to be treated in a fair way.”
Following the game, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino condemned the team’s poor defense and the contentious VAR decision for Chelsea’s defeat to Aston Villa.
“The performance was really excellent and we played very well, albeit in the first half we surrendered easily,” Mauricio Pochettino told TNT Sports after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.
“When we sought to adjust things, the team did not surrender too much.
“To play Villa, who are competing for the top four, I am satisfied with the squad, and the players performed well.
“I believe that was what we anticipated, and today was an excellent chance against a talented squad.
“We have to go on, and the disallowed goal will make headlines.”
