“We Have Better Players Than Him, He Is No Longer Needed anymore in the club” Pochettino instructs Chslea owner Todd Boehly to Sell First Team Player for £78m in order to Fund Victor Osimhen Transfer

There is no question that Chelsea Football Club will still want to cut down on their current team in order to save money before the end of the January transfer window.

The West London club spent a lot of money to get Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, and Nicolas Jackson as first-team players during the summer transfer window of 2017.

But because they brought in so many new players last year, Chelsea Football Club knows they need to get rid of some unwanted players to balance the books.

It has been said that Chelsea Football Club, a team in the Premier League, is ready to sell experienced custodian Kepa Arrizabalaga on a regular basis this year.

The Spain international, who is 29 years old, joined Chelsea after leaving Athletic Bilbao in 2018. He has been in and out of the first-team group for Chelsea over the last few seasons.

The skilled custodian played a big role for Chelsea during the 2022–2023. He made a total of 39 appearances across all categories.

After that, Kepa Arrizabalaga was sent on loan to Real Madrid in the summer. He has been very active there so far this 2023–2024 season, making 17 matches in all competitions.

Chelsea is keeping an eye on what’s going on with him at Real Madrid, and Transfer News Live says the Blues are ready to cash in on Kepa Arrizabalaga on a permanent deal.

Reports also said that Chelsea wants to get rid of Kepa Arrizabalaga this year and has set a price of £17 million for the veteran custodian.

It is thought that Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, doesn’t see Kepa Arrizabalaga as an important part of his first team and is open to trade offers for the veteran custodian.

Then, it remains to be seen if any of the best teams in Europe will be willing to pay the £17 million transfer fee that Chelsea wants in order to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga there for good.
