Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s head coach, has issued an update on the condition of star midfielder Jude Bellingham.

This comes after the England international sparked excitement among Real Madrid fans a short time ago.

Los Blancos, of course, made their return to action this evening, hosting Girona at the Santiago Bernabéu for a top-of-the-table La Liga clash.

And, when everything was said and done, Ancelotti and co. demonstrated their domination over the rest of Spanish football.

Real Madrid won 4-0 thanks to goals from Vinícius Jr., Jude Bellingham (2), and Rodrygo.

However, as previously stated, Real were dealt a blow during an otherwise fantastic evening’s work for the capital titans.

This occurred on the personnel front, with the aforementioned Bellingham walking out of proceedings with what appeared to be an ankle injury.

The England international was hurt in a collision during the first half, which left him grounded and clearly in discomfort.

Even though he managed to continue before finding the net twice, Bellingham was eventually forced to surrender to the problem.

During his post-match press conference, Carlo Ancelotti was obviously asked for an update on his star player’s predicament.

And the Real Madrid manager went on to confirm:

“Bellingham suffered an ankle sprain. We’ll analyse him tomorrow.”
