VAR Cheated Arsenal again?? Watch how VAR overturn Arsenal Check on the Byline- when will this VAR issues stop?? It was Manchester City before now Arsenal

Referee Michael Oliver gave West Ham a goal on Thursday night even though it appeared the ball had gone out of play for a corner, and Arsenal was on the other end of a VAR call.

Jarrod Bowen scored the goal after Gabriel and Oleksandr Zinchenko were unable to clear a cross into the box. Reaching for the ball, the Hammers star tapped it back to Tomas Soucek, who blasted past David Raya.

Despite Arsenal having controlled possession up until then, that placed the visitors ahead. Craig Pawson, the VAR, thoroughly examined the goal; replays seemed to indicate that the ball had left the goal.

However, Bowen’s upper torso and right leg were obstructing the sideline camera’s view of the ball. And former elite referee Mark Clattenberg indicated the goal had to be given for that reason.

They need to gather solid proof that the ball has left the play area because the on-field determination is a goal. “The ball appears to be slightly in play based on the angles I’ve seen,” he said to Amazon Prime.

Ally McCoist, a former player with the Rangers, was less certain that the ball had stayed in. The pundit saw several replays, some of which he acknowledged were not very conclusive. On Amazon Prime TV, McCoist stated: “It’s a tough one.” Whether it’s gone out or not, that one is going to be difficult. How does that seem, in our opinion? I think that’s quite good.”

“It looks in there!” he said after noticing an alternative viewpoint. The ball in that frame is hidden, even if it looks out. Bowen’s right leg is obviously covering the line, hiding the portion of the ball that we actually want to see.

It presents a great challenge to us. You can’t see it, so I’m really, really hoping that whoever is looking at it has another angle. In actuality, his right thigh and leg are blocking the view.

Oliver was seen being questioned by a group of Arsenal players about the outcome. The referee seemed to respond by saying that Bowen had obscured the camera’s view of the line. The Gunners were taken aback by the goal’s allowance but managed to rally a little to regain control of the match.

However, Mikel Arteta’s team was unable to create many clear-cut opportunities, and their supporters were clearly upset with Oliver for awarding the goal. It was similar to Arsenal’s loss to Newcastle, where VAR was unable to determine if the ball had left the pitch prior to the Magpies’ winning goal.

Following that match, Arteta went on a vehement tirade over VAR and the choice to award that goal. The Arsenal manager would not face any consequences for his comments made at St James’ Park, according to a recent announcement from the FA.
