Top Four Premier League English club have sacked their manager tonight after embarrassing defeat today night

Following a 2-1 loss to Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, Chelsea fans have called for Mauricio Pochettino’s dismissal.

After another lacklustre performance at the Molineux on Christmas Eve, the former PSG coach is under pressure.

Despite a large summer spending spree on players, Chelsea has battled for consistency in the Premier League this season, winning only six of their first 18 games.

Wolves’ Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty scored in the second half to hand Pochettino’s side their eighth defeat of the season.

In the 95th minute, substitute Christopher Nkunku scored with a header on his Premier League debut to cut the deficit.

Chelsea fans have flocked to social media to express their displeasure, with the hashtag #PochettinoOut presently trending on X.

“Why would you bench Nkunku and play two poor strikers?” Friedrich remarked on X. #Pochettinoout

“I’m there now,” Alex Goldberg wrote on X. Pochettino must be fired. It’s not tomorrow because it’s Christmas. Tonight, instead. But don’t expect that to solve our problems overnight. We are still a circus with a major culture problem.” #Pochettinoout

“They want to make it about Poch vs Attackers,” the Tolor wrote on X. Based on our previous game, Sterling, Broja, and Jackson should not have started. The only reason you would start Jackson is if Nkunku was not ready. Who should be held accountable? #Pochettinoout

On X, CFC Adam posted, “#PochettinoOut it’s time! This is terrible….poor tactics, horrible setup, inability to break down teams, £1 billion spent on pure crap!! Congratulations, @ChelseaFC. I can’t believe I got up at 4 a.m. to watch this terrible squad again.”

“Pochettino should be fired,” Quest Quest wrote on X. It’s not tomorrow because it’s Christmas. Tonight, instead. But don’t think that will solve anything overnight. It’s a whole circus with a major cultural issue.”

Meanwhile, Pochettino stated that Chelsea deserved to win the game more.

“I I think we deserve much more than we got but we cannot hide from the fact that in a competition as strong as the Premier League, if you are not clinical then you cannot complain [at the result].”

“We created a lot of chances in the first half but didn’t score,” he continued.

Pochettino and the irate fans will be hoping for an immediate response from Chelsea when they face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
