Thomas Tuchel has already been identified as potential replacement for Jurgen Klopp as manager of Liverpool
The departure of a former Champions League winner from Bayern Munich at the end of the season marks a big change for the club, which now has a very small chance of ending the season without any hardware.
Bayern has been the league leader for a long time, but Bayer Leverkusen’s strong play has made them vulnerable. They are currently eight points behind Bayern.
Bayern has lost three games in a row in different tournaments this season, which hasn’t happened since 2015, while Leverkusen has won all 32 of their games this season, with 28 wins and four draws.
Thomas Tuchel, who is currently managing Bayern, could be replaced by Xabi Alonso of Bayer Leverkusen or even by Liverpool, which is odd since Alonso has said he wants to return to the Premier League because he feels undervalued in Germany.
There have been rumours that Tuchel wants to join Manchester United. However, there isn’t an obvious threat to current manager Erik ten Hag’s job, despite pressure earlier in the season.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, United’s new owner, stresses the need for excellence in key jobs and an environment that is both competitive and supportive.
There are no signs that Ten Hag will be leaving soon, but the club is under a lot of pressure to meet its season goals.
Tuchel thinks he has unfinished business in the Premier League after being fired by Chelsea even though he won multiple titles, including the Champions League.
It has been said that he could also go to Liverpool and Barcelona.
Tuchel’s time at Chelsea ended quickly, even though a lot of money was spent on new players. He was fired in September 2022, even though he had led Chelsea to three local cup finals without winning any of them.
