SOUTHGATE RECEIVES GREEN LIGHT FROM TOP PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB AS NEXT MANAGER 🚨 Premier League Club Makes Move to Poach England Manager”

After Euro 2024, Premier League teams are allegedly considering hiring England manager Gareth Southgate. Though there has been conjecture that Southgate’s tenure as senior squad manager of the Three Lions may come to an end at Euro 2024, he has been in charge since 2016.

The Daily Mail claims that the Football Association (FA) has been planning for Southgate’s possible exit, and Pep Guardiola of Manchester City is thought to be the best option. Although Southgate has not ruled out quitting his position leading the national team, his contract expires in December 2024, and the FA is desperate to keep him around until beyond the 2026 World Cup, according to BBC Sport.

But according to The Sun, Southgate has surfaced as a contender to succeed Roy Hodgson as manager of Crystal Palace. According to reports, Hodgson has been under increasing pressure because of Palace’s recent bad performances; chairman Steve Parish allegedly considered firing him until their recent triumph over Sheffield United.

Any move by Southgate to Palace is thought to be less likely at this time and is expected to happen following England’s Euro 2024 campaign. Parish seems to be leaning towards former Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper to replace Hodgson, with Lille head coach Paulo Fonseca as a backup.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Graham Potter, Scott Parker, the former manager of Fulham, and Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna are among the other candidates for the Selhurst Park job. Before his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, Hodgson wants to keep Palace out of the Premier League. With one game left, they will play Chelsea at home on Monday night, five points above the relegation zone.
