Pep Guardiola has announced VERY SAD NEWS for Kelvin De Bruyne before Newscastle Clash Tomorrow

City boss Pep Guardiola gave away some big Kevin De Bruyne team news before their Premier League game against Newcastle United on Saturday.
This weekend, the Sky Blues play their first Premier League game of 2024. They go to St. James’ Park to play Eddie Howe’s failing Newcastle team.
The Magpies have lost all eight of their recent Premier League games against Manchester City. They are now ninth in the table after only winning one of their last five games.
Last weekend, both City and Newcastle won the Emirates FA Cup. City beat Huddersfield Town at the Etihad Stadium, and Newcastle beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Kevin De Bruyne only played three times for Manchester City this season last weekend. It was his first game in five months after surgery for a hamstring problem that kept coming back.
The 32-year-old played with fellow Belgium international Jeremy Doku in the second half of Sunday’s 5-0 loss. Both players are also in the running to play at St. James’ Park.
De Bruyne said that he would probably stay on the bench for the Blues’ next games, since the midfielder hadn’t played since the first game of the season at Burnley.
Since December, the Belgian has been working with Manchester City’s first team. Guardiola says he could start on Saturday night against Newcastle.
Guardiola said, “Kevin De Bruyne is ready to play, and I can see that he is very good. The trip to Abu Dhabi will also help him.”
“I saw him yesterday, and he looks and feels great. His game was better than the ones before Huddersfield. He is getting better.
If Manchester City wins on Tyneside, they could close the gap on league leaders Liverpool to two points. However, Erling Haaland and John Stones will not be able to play in the game.
