Manchester United Manager Erig Ten Hag broke down in tears after Key player who was suppose to be the main man against Manchester City in the Community shield has been Injured in Pre-Season
Harry Maguire has returned to Manchester United’s squad for Saturday’s Community Shield match versus City at Wembley Stadium.
Maguire was left out of the team for last Saturday’s 3-0 friendly loss to Liverpool in South Carolina as a precaution, and manager Erik ten Hag described his involvement against City as a “question mark” on Thursday.
However, the 31-year-old centre defender has gone to London with the United team for the season’s first game.
Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Luke Shaw were all missing when the United players boarded their train at Stockport Station.
“Harry Maguire missed the game (against Liverpool) as a precaution but remains a question mark for Saturday,” Ten Hag stated on Thursday. “So we have training, and we need to evaluate if he is fit enough to be available.
“Victor played, but he is also a question mark, as are Azza (Aaron Wan-Bissaka) and Luke Shaw; we will examine them tomorrow.”
