Manchester United has taken a significant step regarding Jadon Sancho’s future

Dortmund won their first Der Klassiker since 2019, with to goals from Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson, while Bayern striker Harry Kane struggled at Allianz Arena on Saturday. Following the encounter, the Manchester United loanee was full of admiration for his teammates.

The 24-year-old, who posted a snapshot of himself in action during the game with two others celebrating the victory, commented on Instagram: “Strong team performance! 🔥.”

The winger, who joined Dortmund on loan from United in January, has helped dash Bayern’s Bundesliga title hopes, with Thomas Tuchel’s side 13 points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Furthermore, BVB’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season have improved, as they are fourth in the table with seven games remaining.

Sancho, who fell out of favour at United following a conflict with manager Erik ten Hag, will return to action for Dortmund next Saturday when they visit third-placed Stuttgart in a crucial Bundesliga battle at the Westfalenstadion.
