Manchester City Skipper Kevin De Bruyne has made the decision to leave Manchester City to join one of the biggest clubs in world football!
According to 90minutes, Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne are the equal top targets for the Saudi Pro League this summer.
Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s acquisition with big-money deals for Neymar, Fabinho, and Karim Benzema last summer, Saudi dealmakers are once again preparing to bring some of Europe’s biggest names to the Middle East.
There are about 100 prospective alternatives, with 20 primary or ‘elite’ targets, and Saudi officials seek to persuade roughly half of those top-tier candidates to make the shift. It was the same strategy in the summer of 2023.
Salah and De Bruyne are said to be the division’s top objectives.
Inside Saudi Arabia, there is speculation that Salah may consider relocating to the kingdom at some point. A fresh approach will be made for the Liverpool star this summer as he enters the final year of his contract, but it is unclear whether he would consider leaving Anfield this summer, with a decision on a new contract due later this year.

De Bruyne’s representatives have yet to indicate whether he is interested in transferring to Saudi Arabia.
City are eager to sign De Bruyne to a new contract, which runs until 2025, and manager Pep Guardiola has publicly expressed his desire to continue working with the Belgian.
“It’s a question for him; I’d like him to stay, but I’m not sure,” Guardiola stated recently. “I’ve heard some links, but I’m not sure if there’s an offer or if Saudi Arabia wants him. I’d love for him to stay till the conclusion of his career, but everyone is everyone.”
If City considers an exit, they will expect a total package worth considerably more than £100 million, possibly closer to the £150 million given to Liverpool for Salah last summer.
Salah’s dream in Saudi Arabia would be to join Al Hilal and play alongside Neymar (if he stays), Ruben Neves, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, while De Bruyne would most likely be targeted by either Al Nassr or Al Ittihad, both of which are also interested in signing Manchester United centre-back Raphael Varane.
To avoid two clubs bidding against each other, Saudi Arabia would make an internal decision on which club would make the final drive for De Bruyne.

Thiago Alcantara is another player to watch. Al Ettifaq is one of the Saudi clubs considering signing a pre-contract with the Liverpool midfielder.
And, with quota rules changing to allow for ten foreigners next season but only two born in 2003 or later, keep a watch on some younger names. Although there is a widespread desire to buy, loans will be considered in order to gain access to more promising talent and establish connections with major teams.
Lorient’s Eli Junior Kroupi, Dortmund’s Almugera Kabar, Sampdoria’s Facundo Gonzalez (on loan from Juventus), and Liverpool’s Ben Doak (now injured) are all being considered for temporary contracts.
