Klopp first said that Salah will go back to the club for treatment after Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

“That’s the plan. I don’t know if it’s already set in stone, but that’s the plan,” Klopp stated

I think this is clear to everyone: he should do rehab with us or our people for as long as he’s out. That’s the plan. I don’t know if that’s already set in stone.

When asked if he had talked to Salah, Klopp said, “Yes, right after. But since the night it happened, he’s been in touch with our doctor, and the doctor tells me the news.” I believe he will return.

Klopp was asked if Salah would be able to go back to the Africa Cup of Nations if Egypt made it to the final. “I’m not a doctor, but if he’s fit before the final, if Egypt make it to the final and he’s fit before the final, probably yes,” he said. That’s the game, so why not?

“Now it’s about,” Ivory Coast said. I’m sure is a great country, but I think it’s better for the players now that we don’t have any people from our country there. Their people will have to take care of the players.
