David Beckham has shown his admiration for a certain Manchester City player.

With 724 club appearances under his belt, including stints at Real Madrid, Manchester United, and AC Milan, the former midfielder is well-versed in what it takes to be a premier player.

Given that City has already won as many Premier League championships in the last seven years as Beckham did when playing for United during the 1995–1996 and 2002–2003 seasons, the owner of Inter Miami has singled out one player now in Pep Guardiola’s side that he finds most admirable.

A recent video on the BBC Sport TikTok channel featured Beckham and another former United colleague, Gary Neville, choosing between players from United’s 1999 campaign and Guardiola’s current City squad.

Neville selected the former United striker Dwight Yorke when asked to choose, and Beckham immediately stated as much.
