Chelsea is so eager to find a buyer for Armando Broja that they have cut their asking price and will even accept a loan this month, according to sources.

The 22-year-old has made 13 Premier League appearances this season after recovering from a long-term injury and appears to have boss Mauricio Pochettino’s faith.
However, like fellow academy graduate Conor Gallagher, he provides one of Chelsea’s simplest means of balancing the books and keeping to financial fair play laws, with any sale counted as 100% pure profit.
Broja is already attracting a lot of attention, with West Ham, Fulham, and Wolves all interested in signing him.
However, any deal this month was doubtful, with Chelsea reportedly demanding at least £50 million for the forward, however The Sun now reports that the situation has altered.
The west Londoners are now willing to authorise Broja’s sale provided they earn a fee of around £35 million – and will even let him leave on an initial loan.
Chelsea is aware that other clubs, like themselves, are struggling to comply with FFP guidelines and is willing to aid any suitors for Broja by accepting a loan with an obligation to buy in the summer.

Chelsea did a similar arrangement last summer, allowing Lewis Hall to join Newcastle on loan, despite the fact that both teams were preparing to contend for a Champions League spot.
This time, they are likely to want an obligation-to-buy provision as part of the loan, but Eddie Howe has hinted that Newcastle may back out of signing Hall permanently, which Chelsea does not want to do again with Broja.
The £35 million price tag feels more appropriate for a player who, despite his obvious talent, has only scored twice this season and is still regaining his sharpness following a catastrophic injury last year.
Broja’s likely departure may leave Chelsea short on options in the short term, with Nicolas Jackson now away at the Africa Cup of Nations and Christopher Nkunku also dealing with injury concerns.
Although Pochettino has given Broja numerous opportunities, he cautioned following his FA Cup goal against Preston: “He needs to use this type of game to improve.” Not only does he need to increase his fitness and work ethic, but he also needs to step up and go forward, grin more, and be more enthusiastic about how he wants to enhance his game.
‘The potential is enormous; we’re talking about a young striker in England or Europe who has the most promise. He needs to push himself, and we will try to help him comprehend that it is never enough and that he must work really hard.
