Chelsea are allegedly interested in signing Brest full-back Bradley Locko.
The Blues are notorious for signing youthful talent, and Locko might be the next addition to their roster. The 21-year-old has had an outstanding season in France, making 22 appearances and assisting two goals. Locko is reportedly on Chelsea’s radar as they hunt for a new left-back this summer.
According to HITC, Chelsea has been monitoring Locko’s performance in France in preparation for a potential deal. It has been suggested that he could be brought in to replace Marc Cucurella, who may leave Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.
Cucurella has yet to settle in after joining from Brighton for £62 million in 2022. Despite impressing during his debut season with the Seagulls, he has struggled to reproduce that form at Stamford Bridge.
An ankle ailment has kept him out of the Chelsea squad since December, and he has only started eight of the 14 Premier League games he has been fit for, but it appears Chelsea is willing to let him leave.
If Cucurella leaves, Chelsea is said to be interested in signing Locko as a replacement. He would also cover for Ben Chilwell.

Gusto is now doing well at Chelsea’s right-back, while Reece James is out injured. The 20-year-old might feature in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Liverpool.
He admitted this week that he has enjoyed watching James play for a long time. “Reece is a major player. “I consider one of the best players in this position,” he stated. “I’ve loved Chelsea for a long time. That is why I have known Reece for a long time as well.
