Liverpool beat Chelsea 4-1 on Wednesday, and Chelsea was given two penalties that were not taken. Mauricio Pochettino was left to regret both the decisions made by the referees and his team’s poor performance. Their first half was terrible, and they lost badly, but things could have been very different.

Ben Chilwell was called for diving before halftime by Paul Tierney, which was the right call. However, Virgil van Dijk was not punished for a hit on Conor Gallagher earlier in the game.
