Confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, What Man Utd fan shouted to Marcus Rashford during angry Old Trafford warm-up incident revealed. Its was also confirmed by team-mates that the words of the fans fans made Rashford shed tears šŸ˜¢ in the teams dressing room. Marcus Rashford was seen responding to a Manchester United fan during the warm-up ahead of his side’s 3-2 win against Newcastle in the Premier League on Wednesday

Marcus Rashford faced a crucial moment before Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Newcastle, when he received an ultimatum from a disgruntled fan. Despite making 41 appearances in a season that has fallen short of expectations, Rashford, 26, has only eight goals. As he and his teammates practiced a pre-match exercise in the Old Trafford pitch’s bottom right-hand corner, facing the Stretford End, a supporter dropped several rows to give a clear message: “If you want go, go!”

This statement related to the rising speculation over Rashford’s future, despite his commitment to his childhood club until 2026, as confirmed by a five-year contract extension signed last July. In March, Mirror Football reported that Paris Saint-Germain considered a Ā£75 million approach for Rashford in light of Kylian Mbappe’s upcoming transfer to Real Madrid.

In response to the supporter’s provocation, another attendee stepped in, pushing Rashford not to heed the warning. As word of the altercation spread across the group, United’s Christian Eriksen stepped in, dragging Rashford away.

As the warm-up continued, stewards approached the person who accosted Rashford, while another fanā€”presumably his sonā€”guided him back to his seat. The attacker attracted criticism from surrounding fans for his conduct.

The incident on Wednesday was not Rashford’s first experience with direct criticism from United supporters. In March 2021, after a 1-0 Champions League round-of-16 loss to Atletico Madrid, the United youth product attempted to address a throng of supporters outside Old Trafford, making a hand motion. Rashford subsequently admitted that his emotions had overcome him.

Despite the off-field distractions, Rashford made his 400th first-team appearance for Manchester United against Newcastle, helping Erik ten Hag’s side to their first Premier League win in four games.
