Chelsea owner Todd Boehly have decided to sack Mauricio Pochettino and replace him with world class manager.

‏Chelsea, after enduring a disappointing season, is contemplating replacing Mauricio Pochettino with Bayer Leverkusen’s manager, Xabi Alonso.

The Premier League outfit, currently sitting at the 11th spot in the league table, is rumored to be considering parting ways with Pochettino due to a series of letdowns, as per sources from Sports Zone. Following their 10th defeat in 23 games this season, Chelsea finds itself closer to relegation than to the fourth-placed team after a recent loss to Wolves.

Sources from Sports Zone indicate that Behdad Eghbali, Chelsea’s owner, may be inclined to immediately install Spaniard Alonso as the manager. However, Todd Boehly might be less open to a sudden managerial change. Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also reportedly eyeing Alonso.

Chelsea’s struggles this season are evident in their negative goal difference, having conceded more goals than they’ve scored. The only bright spot for the team under Pochettino, despite bringing in new players last summer, has been reaching the Carabao Cup final.

The need for change has intensified due to the team’s recent defensive frailties, resulting in eight goals conceded in the last two league fixtures. Chelsea’s fans are vociferously calling for a change in leadership, citing the team’s deficiencies in both attack and defense.
