According to AS, Pep Guardiola is looking to sign a top midfielder to partner Spanish maestro Rodri for the foreseeable future. According to the source, the club is considering a growing list of alternatives, including Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich.
However, Brazil international Guimaraes is said to be City’s main target, with reports claiming the Newcastle player is “above all” on the club’s summer transfer wishlist.
