According to a fresh report, Todd Boehly may lose his position as Chelsea’s board chairman.

The Telegraph claims that Chelsea’s owners have an arrangement in place that allows them to rotate the club’s chairmanship every five years.

Clearlake Capital’s owners, Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano, may be in line for the post if Boehly steps down.

The American billionaire has served as Chelsea’s chairman since its purchase in 2022. And, despite spending more than £1 billion on transfers and coaching hires since then, returns have been disappointing.
