“They can score as many goals as they like, they’ll end up being the second or third best by the end of the season”– Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola reveals his judgment on Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League title alongside Liverpool this season, claiming he has TWO players he will utilize to knock Arsenal out of the title race.

In anticipation of Manchester City’s upcoming FA Cup match against Luton Town, manager Pep Guardiola recently shared his thoughts on Arsenal and Liverpool, both contenders in this season’s Premier League title race.

Guardiola highlighted the recent accomplishments of Arsenal and Liverpool, particularly their impressive goal-scoring records. Arsenal netted a total of four goals against Newcastle United, five against Burnley, six against West Ham United, and three against Liverpool in the past month. Similarly, Liverpool found the back of the net against Luton Town and Brentford, scoring four goals in each match, along with three goals against Burnley. Additionally, Liverpool clinched victory against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.

Expressing his awareness of upcoming opponents, Guardiola acknowledged Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Liverpool, recognizing their distinctive playing styles. He commended the talent within his own team, highlighting Erling Haaland’s return to scoring form and Kevin De Bruyne’s impressive performances. Guardiola also mentioned De Bruyne’s forthcoming contract negotiations, indicating confidence in retaining the midfielder.

Manchester City currently sits one point behind league leaders Liverpool and holds a one-point advantage over Arsenal in third place. With four wins in their last five Premier League matches, City demonstrates consistency in their pursuit of the title, having secured the championship for the past three consecutive seasons.

Guardiola expressed faith in his squad’s ability to navigate the challenges of the final stretch of the season, citing their experience and proficiency in securing results when it matters most. As they continue their campaign, City aims to leverage their collective expertise to contend for yet another Premier League title.
