Journalist Alberto Pereira writes on Onda Cero that Real Madrid goalie Andriy Lunin is almost quitting the team for Chelsea in a major turnabout.
Despite Real Madrid offering Lunin, 25 a contract renewal offer, he is among a few players facing at an unclear future at the team.
In 2023/24, the Ukrainian had a great breakthrough campaign stepping in for Thibaut Courtois.
But Lunin is evaluating all his possibilities after losing his place on the squad shortly after the Belgian’s comeback in the last phases of the season.
Lunin wants to engage in play.
The shot-stopper indicated in an interview lately that he would want to stay in the Spanish capital but wants to play frequently – something that might not be achievable as long as Courtois is the club.
