VERY SAD Manchester City news has been announced this evening- Arsenal could be given the EPL Title after Man City breaches 115 Premier League Rules as EPL Giants set to be hit with 12 points Deductions
According to a study, the vast majority of Manchester City fans feel the club should prioritize signing Pep Guardiola to a new contract.
The City manager’s contract expires at the end of the current season, and he has yet to sign a new one. He joined the team in 2016 and has won 18 major awards, including six Premier League championships.
The Catalan has done an excellent job since succeeding Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium, and City fans are anxious for him to stay, according to the results of a Manchester Evening News post-transfer window survey.
Of the 1,348 votes cast, 94% feel City should renew Guardiola’s contract above Kevin De Bruyne’s. The latter’s current contract expires in June of next year.
Unsurprisingly, the desire for Guardiola’s contract renewal means that 93% of City supporters are currently’very satisfied’ with the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager. Four percent stated they are now “satisfied” with his leadership.
In terms of City’s ownership, 83% of voters stated they are currently’very pleased’ with the club’s management. However, 5% stated that they are not “glad at all” with the owners at this time.
The city did not have the most active or fascinating transfer windows throughout the summer, but half of respondents indicated they were ‘happy’ with it. A significantly smaller percentage (37) indicated they were “extremely satisfied” with how the summer went.
In terms of City’s ambitions for this season, an amazing 83 percent of voters predict the club will maintain its Premier League championship and win a fifth consecutive title. However, 50% of people say Liverpool is the club they dread the most, with 42% picking Arsenal.
Off the pitch, the drama surrounding City’s 115 Premier League charges does not appear to alarm fans, with 40% stating that they are ‘not worried at all’ about the situation. 44 percent indicated they are a little concerned. Only 16 percent chose’very worried’.
City vigorously denies all claims presented against them, but if proven guilty of the alleged violations, 45 percent of voters believe the club’s penalty would be a fine. Only 8% of voters think they will be demoted from the Premier League.
