Top 4 English manager has been finally sacked today after loosing to championship team in the premier League yesterday

The first game of the semi-final between Chelsea and Middlesbrough ended in a loss. Chelsea has a lot of work to do to get to the Carabao Cup final. The Blues’ defence was terrible in the first half, and Hayden Hackney scored to put Boro ahead. That was enough in the first match.
Three changes were made by Mauricio Pochettino to the starting eleven that beat Preston North End on Saturday. Because of the game at the Riverside Stadium, Thiago Silva, Noni Madueke, and Conor Gallagher all came back to the team.
Cole Palmer played as Chelsea’s false nine in the northeast, and the No. 20 played right away. As Madueke worked hard on the right side, he found a fellow countryman who quickly turned and shot, but it was too close to Tom Glover in goal for Boro.
For the most part, Palmer would drop into his own half to get the ball and try to play. This made room for players like Madueke and Raheem Sterling to run more centrally and take up space in the middle of the game.
Aside from the ball, he was also very good at moving around. On the half-hour mark, he intercepted the ball, which almost put the guests ahead at the Riverside. Also, he should have done. After Jonny Howson made a mistake, Palmer got the ball back but missed Glover’s goal with what was without a doubt the visitors’ best chance in the first 45 minutes.
But Hackney gave Boro the lead before the 40-minute mark. Levi Colwill made a mistake in defence, the ball was played across the box, and Hackney scored a smart goal to punish Chelsea for their bad play in the first half.
Recently, Colwill hasn’t been very good in games. He is playing defence in a position that doesn’t feel natural to him, but basic defending skills have let him down in the past, and that was the case at the Riverside.
He was caught off guard at first, which is fine if you can make up the yards quickly. Colwill does, but he wasn’t strong enough to make the tackle on Isaiah Jones, which let the Boro player pass the ball to Hackney, who finished it off.
There is no good reason for the club to let Ian Maatsen go on loan. Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella are both out, so Chelsea is really short at left back. While the first one is getting close to coming back, his history of injuries is not good to read.
The fact that Colwill did not play left back in the first half of the season proves this. He did well as a central defender while on loan at Brighton last season, but Chelsea’s decision to keep playing him on the left side seems to have stopped his growth and progress.
In any case, Chelsea was down a goal at halftime in front of a very full Riverside. As you might expect, Palmer created the most chances for the guests. However, the 21-year-old wasn’t playing his best.
His four shots were two on goal and two “big chances” that were missed. For example, Glover blocked Enzo Fernandez’s shot right into his path, but he missed it. That was a big letdown.
Madueke had a great chance to tie the game early in the second half. Fernandez sent a smart cross into the box. The player hit it with his head, but Glover was already there.
It looked like Chelsea’s plan for the second half was to get the ball out wide and cross it into the box. But there was no one in the area who could be reached physically. It didn’t make much sense that Armando Broja was sitting on the bench.
But Broja was turned to just after the hour mark. Also, Mykhailo Mudryk came on for Chelsea, who needed a goal badly in the northeast. After having a lot of the ball in the second half, Chelsea couldn’t win. We’ve said many times that the Blues were so careless in front of goal under Pocheettino.
Besides that, they looked very weak when it came to defence. Even though Boro wasn’t very good that night, Chelsea’s sloppy defence made them look like they were at times.
The second part starts in two weeks and has a lot to do. The Blues are lucky because they have a chance to make things right at Stamford Bridge.
