The Referee that will officiate the Club WorldCup Match for Manchester City Vs Fluminense has been named this evening
The final of the FIFA Club World Cup will be between Manchester City and Fluminense. Szymon Marciniak will be in charge.
Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, wants to win their fifth trophy this year and become World Champions. They have already won the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup, and the Super Cup in 2023.
The winners beat the Japanese team Urawa Red Diamonds in Jeddah on Tuesday night to make it to their first FIFA Club World Cup Final.
An own goal by Marius Høibråten just before halftime broke the tie for Manchester City. Goals from Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva in the second half sealed the Sky Blues’ spot in Friday’s final.
Fluminense, the defending champion of the Copa Libertadores, will play Manchester City in the final on Friday. On Monday, Fluminense beat Al Ahly 2-0 in the semi-finals.
The Club World Cup Final between Manchester City and Fluminense will take place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. FIFA has already named the Match Officials for the game.
In the FIFA Club World Cup Final on Friday, Szymon Marciniak will be in charge of the game. Manchester City will play Fluminense.
So far this season, the Polish referee has been in charge of 23 games across all categories. He or she has given out 103 yellow cards and one red card.
Last year, Marciniak was in charge of the FIFA World Cup Final. In June, he was in charge of the UEFA Champions League Final, which City won over Inter Milan in Istanbul.
It will be Assistant Referees Tomasz Listkiewicz and Adam Kupsik who work with Marciniak at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
