‘Thanks for your support’: Chelsea Star and Spain International Marc Cucurella COOKS Gary Neville after Euro win for Calling him
After Spain defeated England in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday night, Marc Cucurella and his girlfriend Claudia Rodriguez rebated Gary Neville.
Meanwhile, Cucurella was among Spain’s unexpected tournament stars; many questioned whether the Chelsea defender would even be included on Luis de la Fuente’s team.
Neville, meantime, pointed out Cucurella as Spain’s weak point prior to their opening group game, which resulted in an amazing 3-0 triumph against Croatia.
‘We didn’t believe he would perform,’ Neville said ITV on June 15.
Following Spain’s Euro 2024 final victory against England, Marc Cucurella underlined Gary Neville’s criticism.

At Chelsea, he has not been convincing; he has only played a few games at the end of the season; he is tenacious, aggressive, a bustling little full-back.
‘That price tag still, to be truthful, shocks everyone I know today.
Although Spain has a lot of experience today, there is one missing element that makes you feel as though they will not travel all the way.
“And I have to add, him [Cucurella] being at left-back most certainly is another reason we believe this.”

But Neville’s remarks returned to haunt him as both Cucurella and Rodriguez aimed at the former Manchester United and England defender following Spain’s triumph against Southgate’s team.
With the caption “How was your night, @gneville2?” Rodriguez uploaded a picture of Cucurella rejoicing with the trophy on Instagram.
While Cucurella tweeted a picture of himself rejoicing along with the note, “We went all the way Gary,” she shared a little of Neville’s critique. I appreciate your help.
Cucurella told TVE: “Nobody gave us a chance,” following Spain’s triumph at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
We simply stayed silent, and ultimately we won the Euros.
We proved that we could suffer as well as that we could play. We suffered, a family would have. Arriving, we were a bunch of gamers. We are a family right now.
