“STOP THE BLAME, I AM NOT THE PROBLEM”, Chelsea FLOP Nicholas Jackson Caution Chelsea Fans As He Expose Those Behind The Team’s Recent Failures

Frank Lampard stated he was not shocked by Chelsea’s uneven first season under Mauricio Pochettino.

Lampard briefly returned to the Stamford Bridge bench at the close of last season, after Graham Potter’s sacking, before Pochettino took over in the summer.

Chelsea’s season has been difficult by their typical standards, with the club lying ninth in the Premier League standings and battling to reach Europe via the league.

However, winning the FA Cup would guarantee Pochettino’s Chelsea a European spot next season regardless of their league position, and before of the semi-final against Manchester City, Lampard told the BBC he was not shocked by their troubles this season.

Lampard said, “I believe gradual stages is appropriate.” It’s been a season of little steps. I am not shocked by the squad’s composition.

‘An eight-game unbeaten streak is helpful for confidence. Within such games, there is still an irregularity in which they are unable to manage the game.

‘Perhaps a dependence on Cole Palmer, who has been terrific for them. Momentum is a good thing. They won their previous game 6-0 and will be confident going into today’s game, which is certainly a significant test.

The Blues scored six goals without reply against Everton on Monday night, but they still made bad headlines after a three-way brawl over penalty responsibilities involving Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke, and Palmer, who finally took it and scored his fourth of the game.

Chelsea’s strong run of form continues, with five victories and three draws since their loss in the Carabao Cup final in February.

Lampard established himself as a club icon with his midfield exploits at Chelsea between 2001 and 2014.

He returned to Stamford Bridge as manager from 2019 to 2021, and stepped in temporarily at the close of last season, as the Blues have had a succession of managers in recent years.

Lampard told the BBC that he recognized the issues that any incoming manager would face. There was supposed to be a major squad turnaround. It needed to happen.
