REPORT Saudi Arabia clubs are set to hand Manchester City a ‘crazy huge bid’ after a whopping ‘extraordinary’ sum of over $200M was offered to Man City in exchange for 26-years old Pep Guardiola Play Maker ahead of January summer transfer
Gabby Agbonlahor, a striker who used to play for Aston Villa, wants Manchester City to buy the “next best” player to Kevin De Bruyne, who is wanted by teams in the Saudi Pro League, even though De Bruyne is “irreplaceable” for City.
De Bruyne is said to have been approached by Saudi officials about moving to the Middle East in 2024, when his deal at The Etihad ends.
We told you on Monday that the five-time Premier League winner makes £400,000 a week at City and would make even more by following some of the biggest names in football to Saudi Arabia.
City, on the other hand, has been interested in Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala for a long time. Musiala is currently in talks with the German giants about a new deal.
But Football Insider says the young winger will try to leave in January if he doesn’t get regular playing time in the next few months. This will let both City and Liverpool know about his plans.
The player who used to train at Chelsea is still under contract until 2026, but under Thomas Tuchel in Munich, he hasn’t always been the first choice starter.
Agbonlahor agrees that it would be very hard to find a replacement for De Bruyne, but he thinks that Musiala would be a good choice.
For Football Insider, Agbonlahor said, “De Bruyne is a player you can never get back.” He’s crazy with a football.
“Look at them, they’re not the same team anymore.” It’s not the same player because Haaland isn’t getting the help that De Bruyne gives him.
“You can’t get someone else like him, but you should find the next best person in your class.”
He will want to play for a team with a boss like Pep and a striker like Haaland to see what he can do since he won’t win a Ballon d’Or at Bayern.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if City went out and signed Musiala.”
City will play again on Tuesday night in the Champions League, but De Bruyne will not be able to play because he is hurt.
