Recently, it has been confirmed that Virgil Van Dijk has been suspended for being the rough Tackle on Gallagher following the 4-1 win that occurred in yesterday’s #LIVCHE match

A harsh 4-1 loss at Anfield for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea team to Liverpool did not lead the manager to criticise the match officials.
Diogo Jota and Conor Bradley scored goals before halftime, putting the Blues behind. Soon after, Dominik Szoboszlai scored a third goal for the home team. Christopher Nkunku gave Chelsea some hope for a short time, but Luis Diaz scored in the 79th minute to end any slim chances of a comeback.
Even though the score was very clear, there was some debate because Chelsea was given two penalty calls that they thought were penalties. Both goals were not called off by VAR, but Pochettino didn’t want to blame anyone after the game.
“It’s not the last excuse,” he said. They had every right to win. They were better than we were. I don’t want to talk about that, though, because it’s football-related. From the start, they were better than us. This kind of game calls for a “well done” shout.
“They were better at it than us,” the Argentine said. It was hard for us to play and connect. It was so easy for us to lose the ball. When we say that they compete better, it means that they did better than us in any given area.
“At 2-0 in the second half, we give Mudryk a chance, and if we score, we might feel better about ourselves and play better.” Even if we scored and tied, we would still be upset because we didn’t play very well.
The game on Wednesday night at Anfield was a practice run for the Carabao Cup final next month, which will take place at Wembley.
When the two teams met again, Pochettino told the Blues that they would have to step up their game a lot if they wanted to win the trophy before their foes. He did say, though, that the game would be different when it wasn’t at Anfield.
“For sure, it will be different in a neutral place,” he said. Of course, that’s how it feels. That’s good because we want to win. It will happen again if we compete the same way we did today. We will have a hard time if we don’t get better. This kind of game is about learning for us. We were up against the best team in the world. It’s good that we know we need to do better.
