Premier League has been announced when Liverpool vs Manchester City match will be replayed

Liverpool had to settle for a draw in their recent match as VAR upheld referee Michael Oliver’s decision not to award a penalty. In a post-game interview with Sky Sports, former official Dean suggested it could have been a penalty, labeling Doku as “very, very fortunate.”

Despite this, Klopp seemed to sarcastically acknowledge Dean’s remarks and proposed a way to avoid such controversies in the future. Klopp argued in his interview that Doku should have been booked and reiterated that it was a clear foul, stating it was “100% a foul.”

Klopp’s comments took a humorous turn as he joked about Dean’s employment with Sky Sports, suggesting they should congratulate themselves on the appointment. He quipped that like others, Dean would always find something, emphasizing that the incident was a penalty by universal football standards.

Liverpool fans on social media applauded Klopp’s apparent dig at Dean, with many expressing amusement and support for the manager’s outspokenness. Meanwhile, former Liverpool player Daniel Sturridge added to the light-hearted atmosphere with a joke about his blazer, eliciting laughter from the Sky Sports crew.

On the field, John Stones scored for City, capitalizing on a corner delivered by Kevin De Bruyne. Liverpool managed to equalize through a penalty converted by Mac Allister after Darwin Nunez was fouled by Ederson, resulting in his substitution due to injury.

Despite late penalty appeals, Liverpool couldn’t secure the win, leaving them level with Arsenal at the top of the table, with only goal differential separating the two teams. City trails closely behind in third place, trailing by just one point.
