“Never bench him in your life again”, “He is Our best player in the league amd needs more playing time” – Chelsea fans react as Blues beat Newcastle 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea won 247–2 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea hung on for a 3-2 win over Newcastle United in a thrilling game on March 11. This is their fourth game in a row without losing in the league. Fans showed how they felt as Chelsea beat Newcastle United, who have only won one Premier League game at Stamford Bridge. The Blues kept up their good home record.
Coming into the game, the Blues had just lost their West London match against Brentford by a score of 2-2. They had nine days to get ready for the game against the Magpies, who beat them 4-1 in November in the first meeting.
Even though Newcastle got off to a good start, it was the home team who scored the first goal in the sixth minute. It was their quickest goal in almost six years.
The Magpies came back hard in the second half and tied the game in the 43rd minute.Chelsea played very well and with calm in the second half, scoring twice before the guests scored late to tie the game. The win helped manager Mauricio Pochettino, whose methods have been criticised lately, deal with some of the rising stress.
Fans on X had a lot of different things to say about the show.
“We got lucky”
“The best U21 player in the league is Cole Palmer.”
The Blues are getting better, so it should be easy for them to finish in the top half of the table now 😛
Hi @NuJhayhne, Is that you, MISHAAAAA?????????
Cole Palmer is the best U21 player in the league, according to @UtdEIIis.
Hey @real_Ifyarts, we got lucky in some way.
Hey @DannyMi11901879, It’s been a while since we were sure we would win▉
No matter what, Pochettino should never try to put Mudryk on the bench again.
When it comes down to it, we nick it. ???????????? Get up, chelsea!
RT @RaffaRants: If you do that again, don’t do the last seven minutes???
It’s clear that Pochettino will never be our long-term coach.
Even though they won, Chelsea is still in 11th place, even though they have played one less game than the teams above and below them. They are in seventh place, four points behind West Ham United. On Sunday, March 17, they will play Leicester City in the FA Cup quarterfinals.
