Manchester United Manager Erik ten Hag has identified ‘dream job’ if he gets sacked by Manchester United: Reports
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, is said to want to join Bayern Munich if the Red Devils fire him.
The Manchester club is having a disappointing season, sitting sixth in the Premier League, nine points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa. Ten Hag’s team also failed to advance beyond the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, but they are now in the FA Cup semifinals.
Amid these concerns, German journalist Christian Falk claims that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team are unsure whether the Dutch coach is the ideal guy for the job (via SPORTbible). With the current manager of the Bavarian team, Thomas Tuchel, likely to depart at the conclusion of the season, Ten Hag has an opportunity to take over.
The former Ajax manager previously managed Bayern Munich II from 2013 to 2015, overseeing 72 matches in all competitions.
Ten Hag took over as Manchester United manager in the summer of 2022 and has overseen 102 matches throughout all competitions. He has won 63 of these ties and lost 28.
The 54-year-old’s sole prize with the Red Devils came in the form of the Carabao Cup in 2022/23. He might add the FA Cup to his resume, with Manchester United scheduled to face Coventry in the tournament’s semi-final on April 20. Ten Hag’s team is undoubtedly the favourites in that match.
Manchester United’s kid dreamed of playing for Real Madrid in the future – Reports
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho allegedly wants to play for Real Madrid in the future. According to TyC Sports, the Argentine does not want to leave just now, but hopes to represent Los Blancos later in his career.
Garnacho has established himself as a starter for Erik Ten Hag this season. In the 2023/24 season, he appeared in 38 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals and assisting four others.
Real Madrid does not appear to be particularly keen in signing the 19-year-old at the moment. However, if this deal goes through, it will be a step forward in Garnacho’s career.
While the Red Devils continue to struggle, the Spanish giants lead the La Liga standings and are set to meet Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals.
