Manchester United FLOP offers himself to Barcelona’ in optimistic bid to revive football career BUT Barcelona rejected him

Jesse Lingard, a former midfielder for Manchester United, has reportedly “offered himself” to Barcelona in an enthusiastic manner.
Lingard left Nottingham Forest in the summer and is currently without a club.
In order to stay in shape, he has been training in Dubai since signing a one-year contract at the City Ground in the summer of 2022.
Although it’s uncertain where Lingard will play football going forward, it wouldn’t be shocking if he ended up at Barcelona, where he has been connected.
The former midfielder for Nottingham Forest and Manchester United has reportedly “offered” Barcelona his services, according to the Spanish publication Sport.
The free agency offers Xavi a “affordable option,” and the La Liga winners, who are known for their love of a good deal, might tempt them.
‘Barring a miracle or big improvement,’ inexpensive deals may be Xavi’s only choice in the winter transfer window due to their ‘well known’ financial and financial fair play concerns.
It should come as no surprise that Lingard believes Barcelona would be “an excellent springboard” for him to “revive his career” and that his salary between now and the end of the season will be less than €2 million.
The transfer might not be as implausible as we might believe because he is seen as a “experienced option” who can easily fit into Barca’s squad.
Journalist Dean Jones has verified that Everton is considering signing Lingard in the interim.
At age 31, he stated, “Lingard needs to find a club soon because he seems like an ex-football player at this point, which is not great.”
It appears like his move to Nottingham Forest contributed to his career collapse, therefore it would be fantastic to see him return to the Premier League and try to rewind the years.
It will depend on how accepting he is to the fact that he will not be able to command the same kind of money as he has in the past.
“However, based on my research, I believe there is merit in Everton’s investigation into his circumstances and the advantages of having him join the team for the remainder of the campaign.”
