Manchester United FLOP has left Ethihad Stadium this Morning to join Christiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabian Club Al-Nassr FC in shocking move
Raphael Varane has revealed that he will leave Manchester United this summer when his contract expires, after three seasons with the club.
The highly regarded defender joined the club from Real Madrid in August 2021, and was announced in front of our home supporters at the Theatre of Dreams before the opening-weekend victory against Leeds United.
Varane has given a lot of class and experience to the club in his 93 appearances thus far. The Frenchman also helped us win our first major trophy in six years by capturing the 2023 Carabao Cup at Wembley Stadium. Erik ten Hag’s team defeated Newcastle United 2-0, with Rapha demonstrating his experience with Lisandro Martinez.
The 31-year-old has twice scored for the Reds, with his first coming in a home triumph over Brentford a few years back. Varane’s second attempt won us three points in our 1-0 victory over Wolves at the start of the current 2023/24 season.
Rapha is most known for his unflappable effort at the heart of the defence, where he has demonstrated undeniable talent since joining the club.
To far, he has made 67 Premier League appearances, 58 of which have been starts.
The centre-back has been absent since the 4-3 defeat to Chelsea on April 4, but he is presently working hard to recover from his injury and expects to return before the conclusion of the season.
There will be Premier League matches against Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion before the Emirates FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25.
Everyone at United respects Rapha for his service and wishes him well in the future.
