Manchester City winger Jack Grealish will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shock transfer to Premier League Rivals!
One of Manchester City’s Premier League opponents is allegedly in negotiations about making a spectacular transfer move for Jack Grealish.
Jack Grealish became the most expensive Premier League signing in history when he joined City for £100 million from Aston Villa in 2021.
The England international had some time to fit into Pep Guardiola’s team during his first season, but in his second season, he improved dramatically and played a major role in City’s historic triple victory.
This season, Grealish has taken a step back and has been significantly less productive on the left wing.
While the 28-year-old is probably Guardiola’s go-to player for ball retention and retaining width to open up defenses, his offensive production has plummeted to three goals and three assists in 35 games this season.
Grealish has already conceded that he has to improve his stats in the final third, but he has failed to do so this season.
While the striker still has three years left on his six-year contract with City, he is being linked with a surprising switch to Chelsea.
According to writer Simon Phillips, Chelsea may make a huge money transfer despite having spent more than £1 billion on players since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took control the club in 2022.
He commented on his Substack website, “Another winger I am informed has been internally explored at Chelsea recently is Manchester City’s Jack Grealish.”
“The 28-year-old has been linked with a return to his former club Aston Villa in recent weeks, and due to his part-time role at City, there is a belief in the industry that he will be available for transfer this summer, and he is also likely to be open to moving to another club where he will play a more important role.”
“Chelsea has strong transfer ties with City and, of course, has bought Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer from them in recent years, both for acceptable sums.”
City sold Sterling to Chelsea for £45 million in 2022, and recouped £40 million for academy product Palmer last summer.
