Manchester City Star Rodri has informed Man City club management that he will be leaving Ethihad Stadium to join this shocking Club

Rodri has changed his style of play this season in order to properly care for himself in the midst of a demanding schedule.

Pep Guardiola’s midfield sensation played more games than any of his colleagues last season, helping them win an amazing Treble, but he spoke to coaches about the need to relax more this summer. Rodri was apprehensive that continuing to play as much as he was would result in a shorter career than he wanted.

Rodri has played less games this season, but it is partly due to a four-game suspension. Phil Foden and Kyle Walker are the only two City players who have played more than him, and after breaking the 3,500-minute barrier in the 2-0 FA Cup win against Newcastle, the Spaniard could still top his total from last year.

Rodri is getting the occasional game off for City – he did not start the FA Cup wins over Huddersfield and Luton – but there is still a reluctance to leave him out since no one in the squad, or possibly any other squad, can match his level of performance. With that in mind, there has been a renewed emphasis this season on figuring out how Rodri can relax more during games even when he is participating.

“To be honest, I’ve tried to care for my physique a little more. I chatted with the team about this, and I believe I have rested a little more,” he said. “Let us say it like this. It’s more than just resting. It’s similar to how you play.

“Maybe in games where you’re 3-0 or 4-0, don’t give everything and try to keep your body going until the end of the season.” This is something I’ve been working on all year. I need this respite to catch my breath both emotionally and physically before going all out until the finale.”
