“LET Him Pack his things and Leave I don’t want to see him in my Club Again, He didn’t score an open Net and caused the Goal Vs Arsenal”- Sir Jim Ratcliffe has instructed Manchester United FLOP to leave the Club with immediate effect
Manchester United lost 1-0 against Arsenal on Sunday, their second Premier League defeat in a row.
Arsenal had not won at Old Trafford with supporters present in 18 years. They took the lead in the 20th minute when Leandro Trossard slipped the ball past Andre Onana from close range.
United pressed for an equalizer in the second half, but they seldom troubled goalkeeper David Raya. As Erik ten Hag battles for his job, his team remains ninth in the table, on track for its lowest Premier League finish ever.
Here’s how the players ranked.
Andre Onana
His inaccurate kick set up the opening goal, but Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were more to fault. Gabriel Martinelli and Declan Rice both made excellent saves. 7
Diogo Dalot
Back at left back, he went on a spirited run at 0-0 that may have been more effective. Bukayo Saka causes very little problem. 6
Casemiro
I played walking football for Leandro Trossard’s goal while trundling out of defence. He shouldn’t have been playing there. 4
Jonny Evans
In tougher situations, he performed admirably. His cunning helped Arsenal hold him at bay until he went down again. 6
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Was battling to keep up with Trossard before the Belgian scored the first goal. He was risk-averse at the time of his death. 4
Kobbie Mainoo
An improvement above recent results. Benefited from having an outright defensive midfielder next to him. 6
Sofia Amrabat
A dedicated performance, one that United may have expected more regularly. His balance was much-needed following the Mainoo-Eriksen mismatch. 7
Amad
His first start in 886 days went so well that it’s unclear why Erik ten Hag chose Antony and Omari Forson over him. 7
Scott McTominay
Captain upon his return, however he began in the incorrect capacity. He struggled to accomplish anything noteworthy when he received the ball. 4
Alejandro Garnocho
A regular outlet, although he was held under control by Benjamin White in the first half and missed a great opportunity in the second. Poor final product. 5
Rasmus Hojlund
His poor form at the worst possible time continues. Arsenal was unnerved on his debut, but not now. Should have taken off sooner. 3
Subs
Antony
A degradation for Amad. 5
Willy Kambwala
Came on for Evans.
Christian Eriksen
Late arrival: 5
Omar Forson
It also came on late. 5
Ethan Wheatley
Replaced Hojlund. 5
Manager
When he had more options, he inexplicably played Casemiro at center defense, which cost United. Finally, Amrabat was introduced to restore order in the middle. 5
