Inter Miami Star and Argentina International Lionel Messi has confirmed this evening that his Argentina teammate with £80 million release clause has decided to Join Barcelona over Chelsea in shocking scene
Paulo Dybala, Lionel Messi’s colleague for Argentina, is reportedly interested in joining the La Liga powerhouses and following in the Barcelona icon’s footsteps.
According to SPORT, Dybala has made himself available to Barca. There are just over a year remaining on the Argentine attacker’s contract, and he is currently with AS Roma.
With a €12 million release clause in his contract, Dybala, 30, is eager to move to Spain. Throughout 26 appearances across all competitions this season, he has 13 goals and seven assists.
Barcelona recognises Dybala as a possibility, but they don’t see him as a priority. Whoever takes over as manager at the conclusion of the season will likely have to rebuild the Catalan giants. Xavi will be replaced.

Lionel Messi, the icon of Barcelona, should have won the 2023 Ballon d’Or, according to Paulo Dybala.
With his eighth Ballon d’Or victory last year, Lionel Messi now has three more than his longstanding rival Cristiano Ronaldo. He won six Ballons d’Or while he was a player for Barcelona.
However, because of Erling Haaland’s successful season with Manchester City, Messi’s victory last year was controversial. The renowned forward won his eighth award as a result of his valiant efforts at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as he led Argentina to victory in Qatar.
Dybala was adamant that Messi would retire as the best player in history and that he should win the Ballon d’Or. In December of last year, he said:
