“I told him to come to Chelsea this summer and he has agreed to join Chelsea on only one condition-Raheem Sterling has confirmed that £50m striker is set to join Chelsea this summer

Raheem Sterling chatted with Hafiz Umar Ibrahim via video call and was instrumental in obtaining the teenage striker a trial at Chelsea, according to sources.
The 18-year-old Nigerian wonderkid has piqued the curiosity of several prominent European clubs after scoring 10 goals in six games at the Viareggio Cup.
Ibrahim, a 6ft 2in target man who has been compared to Romelu Lukaku, currently plays for Ojodu City in Nigeria and previously trialled with Bodo/Glimt in Norway.
His stock has only risen since then, and he will now begin a two-week trial at Chelsea to give Mauricio Pochettino a closer look, according to the Evening Standard.
If Ibrahim performs well on his trial and secures a contract, he is anticipated to join Chelsea’s associate club Strasbourg in France to gain experience.
Joe Shields, Chelsea’s co-director of recruitment and talent, helped bring Ibrahim to west London, and the Blues are increasingly looking to African academies for talent.
Meanwhile, Paul Merson has told Sterling that he has little to no chance of making the England squad for Euro 2024 this summer.
‘Euro 2024 has now gone to Raheem Sterling,’ Merson stated. ‘I do not see him at the Euros. It is difficult to construct a case for him.
