“I told Florentino Pérez to help me sign him before Baby Coach Pep Guardiola lays his hand on him, he does not know how to manage this kinds of talents and keep benching them”- Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti now want to sign £70m Girona player who is aiming to play for Manchester City

A new report says that David de Gea turned down a chance to join a Premier League club in January for transfers.

The Spanish custodian is currently without a team. He left Manchester United last summer after 12 years with the club. De Gea has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but the deal has not yet been finalised.

That was Nottingham Forest that tried to get the veteran custodian to sign with them.

They tried to persuade De Gea that playing regular football for them until the end of the season would be good for him. The 33-year-old turned down their “short-term” offer, though, saying he would rather look into other choices.

Forest not only talked to De Gea, but they also asked Arsenal if Aaron Ramsdale was available.

Forest was interested in Ramsdale before they signed Matz Sels from Strasbourg. Ramsdale has since lost his regular spot to David Raya.

The Belgian custodian moved to the City Ground for £5.1 million and signed a three-and-a-half-year deal on the last day of the transfer window.

Forest has a group of goalkeepers now that Sels is added. These include Matt Turner, Wayne Hennessey, and Odysseas Vlachodimos.

Since De Gea turned down their offer, he is still looking for a new club. The transfer window has closed, but the Spaniard is still a free agent and can sign with any team at any time.

De Gea played 545 times in all games during his illustrious career at Manchester United.

Being a big part of the team’s wins in the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Europa League was definitely his job. Besides that, he played 45 times for the Spanish national team.

As De Gea continues to look for a new club, his many years of experience and strong track record make him a desirable candidate.
