” I think it’s high time the leave my beloved Club I don’t need them anymore from one injury to another- Chelsea Manager Mauricio Pochettino has informed Todd Boehly he wants to get rid of 2 Chelsea FLOP player in Summer transfer
Mauricio Pochettino is allegedly upset with two Chelsea players after their poor season.
After spending a lot of money on Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, and Cole Palmer during the summer transfer window, Pochettino was anticipated to guide Chelsea back to the Premier League top spot.
However, the 23/24 season has been a tremendous disappointment for the Blues, who are presently ninth in the league standings, 16 points behind fifth-placed Aston Villa and a massive 27 points behind champions Arsenal.
Pochettino and his staff have reportedly been dissatisfied with two of their players.
According to Football Insider, the Chelsea coaching staff is dissatisfied with the performances of wingers Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling.
Ukrainian winger Mudryk had just six goals and three assists in 33 appearances this season, which is lower than anticipated given his £88 million transfer to the club in 2023.
Sterling has made 38 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions during the 23/24 season, scoring eight goals and assisting eight times.
According to reports, Chelsea will be looking for a new winger when the summer transfer window opens.
Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao has recently been linked with a summer transfer to Stamford Bridge.
After their 2-2 draw with Sheffield United, Pochettino stated: “It is about being able to compete. For many reasons, we are struggling to compete in these kind of games [against smaller clubs].
“Perhaps it’s because this bunch isn’t mature enough to participate in games every three days.”
He said, “It is a new team with profiles in the group that we are learning,” remarked the Chelsea manager. “That is why the process of assembling a team always takes time. It’s not a magical thing [clicks fingers].
“When we speak about projects, we talk about three to five years. It is a standard procedure, however we are striving to resolve this sort of issue. When the season ends, we need to look at the team to see what we’re lacking and attempt to recruit individuals who can give [answers to] what we’re witnessing now.”
